International tournament of Toguzkumalak

From November 22 to 30, 2024, an international tournament of Toguzkumalak was held in Cali, Colombia.

About 50 athletes from Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela, and Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

The competition was held by the World Togyzkumalak Federation.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Samruk-Kazyna Fund and the Sports Development Fund supported the business trip of the Togyzkumalak national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main sponsor of the competition is LLP Kazpetrol Group.

Tournament results, according to the type of rapid, men:

• 1st place - Auelbay Ersultan (Kazakhstan);

• 2nd place - Fajardo Chica Oscar Alvaro (Colombia);

• 3rd place - Bostandykov Beksultan (Kazakhstan);

• 3rd place - Gutierrez Roa Rommel Augusto (Ecuador).

Women:

• 1st place - Dalieva Asel (Kazakhstan);

• 2nd place - Esirkep Kundyz;

• 3rd place - Gomez Maria Sophia (Colombia);

• 3rd place - Arteaga Quintana Andrea Paulina (Ecuador).

Classics:

• 1st place - Zkriyaev Bigali (Kazakhstan);

• 2nd place - Kojanasip Ansagan (Kazakhstan);

• 3rd place - Kaidarov Azamat (Kazakhstan);

• 3rd place - Mahanbetamine Uldana (Kazakhstan).

Latin America:

• 1st place - Acuna Ricardo Alberto (Argentina);

• 2nd place - Fajardo Chica Oscar Alvaro (Colombia);

• 3rd place - Chilito Daniel Alejandro (Colombia).

It is worth to mention that on November 24, 2024 in Cali, Colombia, the "Federation of Toguzkumalak for Latin Americans" was established.

Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela expressed their desire to become members. Oscar Fajardo was elected as the President of the Federation, and German Gonzalez was elected as the General Secretary.
