Earth Day

Trees are the lungs, liver and a beating heart of the cities, thus they are essential to building healthy, livable and sustainable cities around the world.

Trees play an important role in mitigating the effects of climate change and improving air quality, creating healthier living environments in cities. They are also extremely important for cities in hot climates. For example, thoughtful planting of trees in cities can bring temperatures down by two to eight degrees Celsius, making that sticky city heat a little more bearable. Large trees also effectively absorb pollutant gases and filter fine particles suspended in the air, including dust, dirt and smoke, trapping them on the leaves and in the bark.

Moreover, they are not only beneficial for the environment – trees also have a positive effect on us humans. Research shows that living in close proximity to, and easy access to green spaces can improve physical and mental health, for example by reducing blood pressure and stress.

That is why we have various tree planting projects that are joint efforts of the public, business and local government.

On April 24, 2023, as part of the campaign “Green House. International Earth Day”, KAZPETROL GROUP LLP, planted trees in the allocated by the Akimat of Kyzylorda city areas.

80 seedlings were planted in the Tagzam Alany park, from varieties of conifers, pines, thujas, apple trees, cherries and apricots.

Representatives of all divisions of the administrative office of the Company and representatives of the Galaz company actively participated in tree planting.

We would like to thank the management of the Company and all participants for the contribution to the process of greening our city. We can proudly say that we have contributed our small but significant work to the greening of our beloved city.
