Foreign Investors’ Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On June 8, the 35th Plenary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The main topic of the meeting was "Digital Transformation of the Economy".

This event mainly presented IT companies that offered their products to potential Investors.

KAZPETROL GROUP LLP took part in this event at the invitation of the Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies" (AKF PIT). In 2022 KAZPETROL GROUP LLP began the initiation and implementation of the project of an automated information collection and processing system (ASSOI) "Digital Smart Oilfield" through R&D commitment/ Moreover, our company won the Tech Garden Award in January 2023.

At the exhibition, our Company was represented by the project manager for the initiation and implementation of the "Digital Smart Oil Field" project Soltybekov Dastan Balgymbaevich and made a presentation to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Digital Field".

The Head of State was informed about the current status of the implementation of the Digital Smart Oilfield project (DSO). During the report, the President asked questions about the implementation of specific activities within the framework of the "DSO" project. Our colleague Dastan Soltybekov listed a number of implemented programs:

1.       All downhole and technological facilities are 100% equipped with instrumentation  

         and automation, the choice of instruments was analyzed in advance based on the 

         need for certain data for  

          analyzing and monitoring the condition of the equipment;

2.       Data transmission infrastructure is in place;

3.       High-frequency data base is in place;

4.       A software "I-mass" (PDMS) - oil production data management system has been developed.

During the report, the emphasis was placed on the fact that the development is a 100% Kazakh solution, and that this software has been tried and tested in gas condensate fields of the Russian Federation. Similar foreign software is more expensive from 10-30 times more expensive.

Also, specific results were announced that were achieved within the framework of the "DSO" project at our Enterprise.
